needs your poetry, but mostly we need your support. If you have any ideas, suggestions or words of encouragement, our staff could use all of the above.

We are commited to young people and we are committed to poetry. Some people believe we should simply be commited, period.

We'd like to believe we already are. 

For the past decade The Live Poets Society of NJ has established a reputation for publishing the finest poetry available by today's high school poets.

Since 1998 we have provided more publishing opportunities for high school poets than any other national venue.

It is both our commitment to today's youth, as well as our commitment to quality poetry, which guarantee that each issue
of the JUST POETRY!!! will contain only the finest high school poetry available.

We currently receive between fifteen and thirty thousand poetry submissions every year in our National High School Poetry Contest and have baan doing so for over a decade. 

Poetry submissions come from high school poets all over the United States and its territories. It is that variety & volume that has enabled us to be both selective and relevant. Consequently that selectivity and relevance has become the driving force behind all of our publications and the unquestionable key to our success in serving today's high school students.
