JUST POETRY!!!

submissions may be made online at www.highschoolpoetrycontest.com or through the U. S. Mail to the address below. A self-addressed, stamped envelope is required for all U. S. Mail entries. Entrants must be high school students at the time of entry. Only one entry per poet per 90 day period will be accepted. Poems must be 20 lines or less to qualify, not counting the title and any spaces between stanzas. Any subject matter will be reviewed. Our address is

All subscribers will be permitted to vote on-line for the “Best of Issue Award”. This will be a $500 scholarship prize per issue and will be awarded solely by the total number of e-mail votes received within the timeframe specified.

Selections for all of our publications will be made from the same entry pool. There are three possible results.  

The top selections will be offered the opportunity to be published in

JUST POETRY!!!

The Runner-Up selections will be offered an opportunity to be published in one of our Topical Anthologies.

Everyone else will have their entry returned with regrets and will be offered an opportunity to self-critique.
