JUST POETRY is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect any personal information from visitors to this site. We do not place cookies on your computer, nor do we use any type of electronic hocus-pocus to spy on you in your sleep.

We believe in a free internet. We do not ask you to register, or to make up silly user names or passwords, which you will inevitably forget.

We have tried to make this site easy to use and understand, and to explain what you need to know as clearly as possible.

Any information submitted through forms linked to this site is used solely for the purpose specified and for distributing the information requested. 

We do not share, sell, or release any of this information to any third parties for any reason or at any time.

No information is stored for any other purposes and is destroyed when no longer pertinent.

Entrant information

Required information for contest entry includes: name, address, city, state, zip, school attending, year of graduation, and the entrants most recent language arts teacher. Voluntary information includes school website and teacher's email address.

Any information submitted is used for the purposes of identifying the entered poem, corresponding with the entrant and/or verifying the entrant's elibility as a high school student for the purposes of administering this contest. No information is stored for any other purposes and is destroyed when no longer pertinent.

We do not share, sell, or release any of this information to any third parties for any reason or at any time. 

In addition, we do not share the poem itself or the contents of the poem with any third party.

Any response from email entries is sent to the email address from which the entry is sent. Reponses sent will contain the entered poem. By entering through that email address the entrant is approving that that is an appropiate and secure method of contacting them. JUST POETRY can in no way be held liable for who may or may not have access to that email address. 

Any response from mailed entries is sent via the self-addressed, stamped envelope required with the entry. The complete entry is always returned. We do not retain any copy of your work. Any entry received through the US Mail which does not contain a self-addressed, stamped envelope will be destroyed.
